My name is Jolee, and I am a seer and intuitive tarot reader.

​

Spirituality has always been a significant part of my life, though my understanding of my gifts and spiritual path has continued to deepen and evolve over time. My practice is rooted in faith, prayer, ancestral reverence, and the spiritual traditions and wisdom carried through those who came before me. 

​

My gifts have shown themselves through intuition, spiritual perception, dreams, discernment, and an ability to see beneath the surface of what is immediately apparent. As I’ve grown spiritually, I’ve become more intentional about understanding and stewarding these gifts through my relationship with God. I believe spiritual gifts carry responsibility and require discernment, humility, wisdom, and a continued willingness to seek truth.

My connection to these traditions is closely tied to my understanding of Black faith, ancestry, and spirituality. Prayer, scripture, roots and herbs, cleansing, protection work, petitions, and ritual have existed alongside one another in Black spiritual life for generations. The Bible, especially the Psalms, also has a long history of use in prayer and spiritual work. Hyssop is a perfect example. It’s one of the herbs I use in my Florida Water, but it also appears in the Bible for cleansing and purification: “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean.” (Psalm 51:7)

Learning more about my own family history has made these connections even more meaningful to me. There is a history of rootwork and natural healing within my family alongside a strong Christian foundation and faith in God. Knowing that has helped me better understand why certain practices have always felt so familiar to me and has given me a deeper appreciation for the spiritual traditions and knowledge passed down through generations.

My approach to tarot is intuitive, reflective, and collaborative. I don’t believe the cards determine your fate or that a reader should tell you how to live your life. I use tarot as a tool for insight, reflection, and discernment. I believe we have intuition, wisdom, and free will, and my role is to help you see what may already be unfolding beneath the surface and bring another perspective to what you may be experiencing.

Whether you’re seeking clarity around your spiritual path, relationships, career, personal growth, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you better understand what you’re facing and move forward with greater clarity and awareness. I’ve found that a lot of the time, we already carry pieces of the answers we’re looking for. Sometimes we just need help seeing what’s already there.

Jo Moonworks is a safe and confidential space for that exploration.

You do not have to share my spiritual beliefs or practices to receive a reading from me. I understand that everyone has their own relationship with God, faith, spirituality, intuition, ancestry, and the unseen. I meet my clients where they are, without judgment, and I will never impose my personal beliefs on you.

I’m not here to tell you how to live your life or make decisions for you. I’m here to offer insight, bring attention to what may need a closer look, and support you through moments of uncertainty, transition, healing, and growth.

​

My spiritual path is still growing and evolving, just as I am. I continue to study scripture, ancestral wisdom, intuition, and spiritual discernment while remaining open to learning and deepening my understanding along the way. I don’t believe spiritual growth requires having everything figured out. For me, it means continuing to seek truth, ask questions, use discernment, and stay rooted in both my faith and where I come from.
